MUSE Festival

ABOUT

An independent, safe, and inclusive space for conscious electronic music experience.

MUSE Festival was founded in 2024 as an independent initiative shaped by a passion for electronic music and the need to create an event in Poland that combines artistic quality, a distinctive visual setting, conscious participant experience, education, and dialogue.

From the beginning, we have built the festival on selection, authenticity, and long-term vision rather than a temporary trend. At the centre of MUSE Festival is electronic music presented in the right context: with care for sound, scenography, location, participant comfort, and the coherence of the whole experience.

MUSE Festival is developing as a music-and-cultural event. Alongside concerts and DJ sets, we create space for workshops, talks, and panel discussions dedicated to the underground scene, music production, club culture, booking, independence, safety, and the future of electronic music. We show that electronic music is a full part of contemporary culture, not only night or weekend entertainment.

The choice of location is an essential part of the festival identity. By placing the event inside historical architecture, we show that electronic music can exist beyond the stereotypical club context. The venue becomes part of the experience, strengthens the meaning of the music, gives it a new setting, and creates a unique context for participants, artists, and partners.

The mission of MUSE Festival is to create an independent, safe, and inclusive space in Poland for conscious electronic music experience. We build an event based on high-quality sound, a carefully selected programme, education, industry dialogue, and an engaged community. We want participants not only to listen and dance, but also to learn the context of the electronic scene, exchange knowledge, and co-create the atmosphere of the event.

Our pillars are quality over hype, music as culture, a safe and inclusive space, education and dialogue, and community. We focus on artists and projects that bring freshness, authenticity, and real value to music. We connect music with architecture, visual art, technology, locality, and social responsibility. We create an environment based on mutual respect, freedom of self-expression, and a shared experience of music.

Today MUSE Festival is more than an event. It is a growing platform for electronic culture, connecting artists, audience, and the local community. For brands and institutions, it means the opportunity to co-create a project with a clear identity, an engaged audience, and real potential for further growth. It is a presence alongside an event that combines culture, community, responsibility, and a modern brand experience.

SECOND EDITION

MUSE Festival 2025

MUSE Festival 2025 connected electronic music with a historic location, high production quality, visual art, education, and a shared community experience.

The second edition showed that MUSE Festival is a music-and-cultural project in which concerts, club energy, workshops, panel discussions, and the urban space form one coherent story. The St. John Centre gave the event a monumental concert dimension, while Crackhouse grounded it in the nocturnal, industrial landscape of the Gdańsk Shipyard.

MUSE FESTIVAL FOUNDERS

MUSE Festival is built by people who did not want to create just another event, but an experience with its own character, energy, and story. Get to know their perspective and see why MUSE Festival is worth the journey.

Why was MUSE Festival created?
MUSE was born from the need to create and experience exceptional things. Music, a shared aesthetic, and the belief that the Polish scene still has room for new initiatives brought us together. We wanted to create an event that is refined, intimate, and rooted in the kind of atmosphere we would want to experience ourselves as participants.

What mattered most while creating the festival?
From the beginning, staying true to ourselves mattered most to me. We do not want to follow trends only because they are fashionable. We prefer to build our own language consistently, invite people into our sensitivity, and broaden our audience through music that truly moves us.

Why Balzaq Palace rather than a typical festival space?
Escaping classic clubs and typical festival spaces has become our signature. We look for places with soul, places where this kind of music is not usually played. The contrast between electronics and historical architecture creates a tension that cannot be achieved in a standard location.

What kind of experience do you want to give MUSE Festival participants?
From the beginning, I have wanted everyone at MUSE to feel the way I would want to feel when coming to a festival for the first time. A friendly atmosphere, good energy, familiar faces, and the highest quality musical experience. We want to create an event that stays in memory for a long time.
